To Strengthen Its Role as a Center of Excellence, Badak LNG Hosts a Benchmarking Visit by PT Geo Dipa Energi and PT PLN Nusantara Power Services

Badak LNG hosted a benchmarking visit from PT Geo Dipa Energi and PT PLN Nusantara Power Services on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. This event was part of an effort to share knowledge and experience regarding operational innovations at the plant based on SHEQS (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Security) principles, as well as environmental management in support of energy efficiency.

The series of activities began with a presentation of the company profile and a safety induction held at the Badak LNG Head Office and TOP Building. This session provided a comprehensive overview of the Company’s business processes, operational standards, and the SHEQS culture consistently applied across all Badak LNG operational areas.

During the visit, the PT Geo Dipa Energi delegation was led by Mr. Ruly Husnie Ridwan, General Manager, while the PT PLN Nusantara Power Services delegation was led by Mr. Maryono, Director of O&M. The delegations were welcomed by Mr. Ichsan Maulana, Vice President of Business Support at Badak LNG, who in his remarks expressed appreciation for the visit as a form of synergy among national energy companies.

“We will discuss together, not to lecture one another, because we are also still in the process of learning. The hope is that we can share and exchange experiences with all of you.”

As a symbol of appreciation and good relations between the companies, the event continued with a souvenir exchange session. Next, the delegation visited the Plant Site to observe firsthand the application of the Badak LNG Management System (BSMART) and its implementation on-site. Additionally, the delegation visited Badak LNG’s partner organizations, namely Telihan Recycle and Lestari Bahari.

This visit provided a concrete illustration of the company’s commitment to environmental management and community empowerment through its CSR programs, which are consistently implemented and have helped Badak LNG secure its 15th PROPER Gold Award.

Through this benchmarking activity, Badak LNG not only introduced the company’s business processes but also strengthened its role as a center of excellence in supporting safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable operations.
