FAQ — Global LNG Solutions

How long do the training programs last?

The LNG Plant Operation Training and LNG Maintenance Training programs generally last 18 months, broken down as follows:

• 3 months Basic Orientation / In-Class Training
• 3 months On-the-Job Training
• 12 months Job Specific Training

The Laboratory Technician program generally takes 3 months. Training duration can be customised through a tailored curriculum to suit the client's needs.

How do I get to Bontang?

Several transportation options are available to reach Bontang:

• By Air — Flights from Balikpapan to Bontang, taking approximately 45 minutes
• By Land — Private vehicle or bus from Balikpapan, taking approximately 3–5 hours

We are ready to assist with your transportation arrangements to Bontang.

Where will I stay during the training?

We provide fully furnished apartments (either shared or private rooms) equipped with:

• Air conditioning
• Television
• Private bathroom

Participants also have access to recreational facilities and a shuttle minibus service within our facility area.

Is there a minimum number of training participants?

To ensure learning effectiveness, we recommend a minimum of 8 participants per batch. Training with fewer participants can still be arranged with fee adjustments based on the number of participants.

Can training be held outside Bontang?

Yes, we are open to discussing training at alternative locations. We have successfully run training programs in Jakarta, Bali, and Bandung.
