Badak LNG’s industrial area has a lot of secondary forest spots. According to observations, as many as 29 species of mammals were identified, consisting of: Rusa sambar, Babi berjenggot, Pelanduk napu, Kucing hutan, Musang leher kuning, Berang-berang, Musang luwak, Codot, Rindil bulan, Monyet ekor panjang, Bekantan, Owa kalawat, Kukang, Orang utan, Landak raya, Mencit rumah, Tikus, Bajing kelapa, Bajing ekor pendek, Tupai,Kelelawar ladam. These mammals were identified either directly or indirectly by camera traps, caught in traps, footprints or through feces in Badak LNG’s Conservation Forest area.
